La Serie A è un prodotto efficiente, affidabile, disponibile in un ampio range di coppia e che garantisce bassi costi di manutenzione. Il suo layout ortogonale rende il prodotto compatto, mentre la combinazione tra ingranaggi cilindrici a denti elicoidali in uscita e la coppia conica in ingresso, fa sì che questo riduttore sia il più efficiente e robusto di tutta la gamma light e medium-duty di Bonfiglioli. In input alla serie A è disponibile una vasta gamma di motori elettrici prodotti da Bonfiglioli: motori asincroni IEC e compatti (BN-BE-BX/M-ME-MX), servomotori (BMD) e motori a riluttanza (BSR).
